honestly i would like to say thank you to no mans sky for getting me into cosmic horror actually. at age 14 i stood in front The Atlas and i felt a terrible, wretched fear of gazing upon a shifting mass that could unmake me in seconds if it so pleased. and then i haven't been normal about things since

#xero says things #AND THEN I LEARNED IT WAS /LONELY/ AND AUAGAHAGHHHHH #I KNOW NO MANS SKY GOT A LOT OF FLACK FOR ITS BUGGY RELEASE BUT GENUINELY IT HAS SUCH A GOOD STORY 2 ME #i haven't played in so long so i never know what came of that myserious 'her' and the corrupted sentinels and such #but i remember reading that tidbit of how the atlas created travellers off its own creator and i was suddenly so overwhelmed by emotion-#-i had to pause the game ans take 5 😭#i was scared to the death of it and it made me to love me. how fucked up is that. passes out
